Summer comes to an end, but finalizing development of few new products you’re about to hear in upcoming weeks, polishing Themis and presenting talks based on our developments is in full swing.
Our venerable crypto scientist, Ignat Korchagin , presented talks aboutSecure Comparatorand ZKP-based authentication in general on DefCon Crypto Village and Security BSides Manchester .
Anastasia @vixentael gave a talk about building secure mobile apps with end-to-end trust model, which features some of the ideas we’re developing at Cossack Labs lately.
Even though we’re heavily focused on our new products, we’re slowly updating and adding minor features to our core crypto SDK, Themis :
Added support and routines for Boring SSL version of Themis. Additionally, we have updated Themis on iOS to made PodSpec compatible with CocoaPods 1.0, moving from compiled OpenSSL as a static lib to the dynamic framework and making some other changes. Also, we’re starting a long series of posts on backend security with a post about classic backend data security measures and designs.
