Enterprise information technology firm, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), has announced the expansion of its cloud-based AI-driven predictive operations platform, InfoSight, across the HPE ProLiant, Apollo and Synergy server range.
HPE InfoSight provides predictive analytics and recommendation capabilities to HPE servers, enabling smarter, self-monitoring infrastructure.
InfoSight users benefit from HPE’s global learnings and predictive analytics capabilities based on real-world operational data. The product is capable of driving down operating costs, closing disruptive performance gaps, and freeing IT staff to innovate, HPE says.
HPE InfoSight gathers operational intelligence by analysing millions of sensors across its global product range and then provides trend insights, forecasts and recommendations to predict and prevent problems.
For IT departments this means potential problems are highlighted before they become an issue, and gain insights into resolution. Ultimately, the result is higher uptime, reduced business risk, and more efficient operations.
HPE states its existing HPE storage customers using HPE InfoSight have decreased operational costs by up to 79%. They have also seen ticket resolution time decrease by 85%, and with 86% of issues automatically predicted and resolved before it becomes a problem.
“Our customers want to unlock the value of digital transformation faster than ever before. This requires evolving their data centres to deliver a hybrid cloud environment that is automated, self-healing and addresses issues in real-time so IT staff can focus on driving transformation, rather than managing hardware downtime and policy exceptions,” said Justin Hotard, General Manager, Hybrid IT Volume Global Business Unit, HPE. “We are helping customers improve the productivity and performance of their operations and free their staff to drive innovation from edge to cloud.”
HPE InfoSight will be available worldwide for HPE ProLiant servers, HPE Synergy compute modules and HPE Apollo systems in January 2019.
